Acorn by Synergie are currently seeking an FLT Counterbalance Driver / Production Operative on behalf of their mineral-processing client, based in Runcorn. This role is at first temporary-ongoing, but may lead to a permanent position upon successful completion of a probation period. The role is very physical and involves some working outside.

Our client requires someone who is a relationship builder with excellent communication skills, and a positive, can-do attitude. Previous production experience is required, although full training is given on-site.

An RTITB or ITSSAR accredited FLT Counterbalance licence refreshed within the last three years is essential for the role

The role involves:

* Manual Handling up to 25 kilo
* Machine Operating
* Working as part of a team to ensure the product is dispatched on time
* Liaising with drivers coming into site
* Quality Inspection of finished product
* Other production duties as directed

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
Pay rate: £12.55 per hour
Overtime: Payable at enhanced rates between £18.83 and £25.10 per hour

There may be the requirement to work shifts 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm to cover holidays, sickness etc. The rate of pay for these hours is £14.43 per hour.
