Are you an experienced leader with a strong background in manufacturing? Are you looking for a dynamic and challenging role in Bridgwater? Look no further!
Acorn by Synergie is seeking a General Manager to join their client's growing team in Bridgwater. As the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage production, oversee the procurement process, ensure quality control, and manage budgets. In addition, you will be responsible for managing staff and dealing with HR issues, as well as managing the overall site operation.
As the General Manager, you will be a vital part of our team, bringing your expertise and leadership skills to drive our manufacturing operations forward. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of production, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of products
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure the availability of necessary resources and materials
- Implement quality control processes to maintain product standards and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage budgets and financial performance, identifying areas for cost-saving and improvement
- Lead and inspire a team of employees, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential
- Address any HR issues that may arise, maintaining a positive and productive work environment
- Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring smooth and efficient operation
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and achieve overall company goals
- Keep up to date with market trends and industry developments, making recommendations for improvement as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in a leadership role in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of production processes and supply chain management
- Experience in managing budgets and financial performance
- Proven track record of managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle and resolve HR issues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software systems
