One of the UK's specialist recruitment and training agencies, Acorn, has been awarded a place on the new National Clinical Staffing Framework from the NHS Collaborative Procurement Partnership* (NHS CPP).
The two-year agreement, which will be managed centrally by Acorn's professional Nursing Division, will see Acorn supply temporary, permanent and fixed term staff to clinical positions under the NHS CPP framework.
The division will also recruit for mental health HCA staff, bandings 2 and 3 and registered mental health nurses with experience in PICU, hospital settings and substance misuse.
To qualify for a place on the framework, Acorn successfully underwent an independent audit of its NHS services and met required criteria for providing qualified clinical staff who can give high quality patient care at rates within the pay caps set by the government.
Michelle Taylor, Acorn's Nursing Manager, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded a place on the clinical framework. We have provided professional nursing and healthcare recruitment support since 2006, so we understand the challenges currently being faced by the NHS, and know exactly what is required to fulfil this framework when recruiting registered nurses and healthcare workers at all grades, throughout the UK."
Last year, the UK-wide recruiter was awarded a place on the non-medical, non-clinical temporary staffing framework and to-date places up to 100 workers each week into a range of positions, including finance, IT and HR roles.
Being awarded a place on the NHS CPP's new NHS Clinical Staffing Framework is the latest contract win for the multi-specialist agency, who in the last twelve months has secured the government-backed Cyber Essentials PLUS accreditation and become a Stronger Together business partner demonstrating Acorn's high levels of trust and integrity.
