At Acorn, we're proud to support the communities we work in across the UK. Every year, we take part in a number of local and national fundraising activities, forming close relationships with many of our charity partners throughout our 25-year history.

Our work

Our community work
The Wallich

Acorn has successfully joined forces and partnered with The Wallich’s BOSS (Building Opportunities Skills and Success) project, helping people overcome the barriers they face on their journey back to work after being released from prison.

CEO Kickabout

A unique charity football event for CEOs and company directors. Developed jointly by Acorn’s Executive Search Division and the Football Association of Wales (FAW) Trust, the CEO Kickabout brings business leaders from across Wales together for a day of football, tactical insight and networking at the FAW’s National Football Development Centre at Dragon Park, Newport.

All proceeds are donated to the FAW Trust to support their community development work.

Our community work
Dalmatian Bike Ride

Acorn is proud to be the main supporter of the Dalmatian Bike Ride for the third year running in aid of St David's Hospice Care.

The canine-themed charity bike ride was supported by just a handful of cyclists in its first year, which raised £10,500. Now just over five years' later the total raised is over £131,000. With four different bike ride options to cover all levels of fitness (or lack of!) and a BBQ at the Priory in Caerleon to celebrate everyone's achievements, this is a fantastic day out with your family and friends, all for a great cause.

Our community work
Byte Night

Acorn supports Byte Night - the UK's largest sleep out where over 100 people from a variety of businesses don a sleeping bag under the stars to raise money and awareness of Action for Children.

Action for Children is a nationwide charity committed to safeguarding young and vulnerable homeless people and with an estimated 80,000 youngsters sleeping on the streets, events like Byte Night are more important than ever.

Supporting our local communities

Acorn understands the issues surrounding homelessness and have a drive, like us, to create opportunities for people who just need that little extra support to get them back on track.
