Acorn by Synergie places agency workers into assignments with approximately 850 different client companies across the UK.                      Also recruits within various different sectors including commercial, industrial, technical, steel, construction, rail, driving, food processing, and hospitality.  

Yes, Acorn by Synergie is a member of the Recruitment &amp;  Employment Confederation (REC) and is ISO 9001:2015 accredited.  Acorn by Synergie is also committed to ethical recruitment practices. They are a GLAA license holder, a Stronger Together Business Partner, and comply with the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) Base Code. This ensures that workers are not charged fees for employment and that they are protected from labor exploitation and human trafficking.

Acorn by Synergie ensures that workers are placed into a safe working environment, paid at National Minimum Wage (NMW) or above, and provided with clear contract and working conditions. Wages are paid on a weekly basis, one week in arrears. Payment is made by direct credit into a bank / building society account of the worker's choice every Friday. Workers must have their own bank account or joint access to one.

Job Title: Executive Assistant Salary: £30,000 per annum Location: Newport Hybrid role Contract role for 12 months Job role: * Reporting into the Head of Human Resources, the Executive Assistant will primarily provide proactive, professional and comprehensive executive level support to the Chief Executive Officer. This includes effective diary and time management, arranging travel and coordinating the CEO's calls and inbox. * For the wider Executive team, administration support is required relating to preparing presentations and other company sensitive documentation. The Executive Assistant will also take responsibility for office and facilities management for our head office in Newport. Responsibilities: * Support the CEO in the full range of business support functions, including organising the CEO's schedule, managing calendar invitations, triaging emails and calls and organising events and meetings. * Providing business support to the CEO and wider Executive team such as preparing presentations, proposals, letters, board papers and conducting research where necessary. * Booking of domestic and international travel, flights, hotels, and ground transportation for the Executive team. * Provide support and co-ordination for a wide range of meetings, ensuring supporting materials are distributed on time, co-ordinating attendee invitations, organising room/virtual bookings, catering, preparing meeting papers, taking minutes, recording and circulating actions, creating agendas, reports, presentations or handouts. * To produce/prepare documentation for the Executive team in a variety of formats including Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, and other reports, letters and proposals including confidential material. * Event and logistics management for internal and external meetings/gatherings where required. * Facilities management and smooth running of our office accommodation including the management of health and safety processes, purchasing office supplies, and liaising with external contractors and service companies. * Assist with other ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Executive team and Head of HR. Executive Assistant 

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a skilled Office Customer Service Advisor for their optical client based in Holborn, London. This is a full time permanent role offering starting salary of up to £24,000 pa dependent on experience. As part of the team the ideal candidate will be offering excellent customer service experience and making sure customers get the best advice on optical products. The candidate will be expected to provide exceptional telephone customer service for customer inquiries or complaints, process orders, and execute follow-up actions. This position requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and comfort with IT systems such as a database/CRM, and the performance of general administration duties, such as filing and processing orders. The main tasks that the candidate will need to carry out on a day-to-day basis involve the following: * Order processing * Advice on products * Receive and make calls and emails * Order chasing * Resolve technical issues * Expedite urgent orders * Filing and other administration tasks * Promote sales and special offers through customer communication We are looking for a pro-active candidate able to communicate effectively with customers, with a strong capability to work under pressure and manage workload. Customer Service Advisor (Office)

Acorn by Synergie is seeking either an experienced Sales Administrator or a graduate who is looking for a position that will offer progression and growth. This position is based in Horley at our client who operate in the energy data industry. Starting salary £22,000 to £24,000 per annum. Hybrid work options when trained. The primary purpose of this role is to support the Account Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administration support across the sales office, and will be expected to draw upon their strong administrative skills, including the ability to work confidently with excel. As our Sales Support Analyst, you will: * Manage the email inboxes for the sales team * Provide a swift and effective response to customer queries via phone and email * Respond to orders and other customer requests * Create excel statistics reports * Support account managers in creating customer relationships * Process maintenance agreements * Track customer orders from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and orderly experience * Provide highly accurate order processing. Naturally, you will have a great eye for detail, as well as excellent organisational prioritisation and problem solving skills. You will need intermediate experience in Excel, as well as the ability to create custom statistics reports.
