Acorn Recruitment is searching for an Accounts Assistant to join an existing team with our client, a busy manufacturing business based in Widnes, Cheshire.
Reporting to the Finance Director, main duties of the role will include:
*Purchase ledger, matching, batching and coding of invoices.
*Sales ledger reconciliation
*Some credit control chasing debt by telephone letter and email.
*Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits.
*Preparing month end information for the Finance Director
*Additional bookkeeping duties as required.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of both Sage and Opera accounting systems. Proven work experience in a similar role and an excellent attention to detail.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience to offer.
