Full Stack Developer
Location - Barnstaple - North Devon
Salary - £45k-£50k per annum + benefits
Hours - Monday - Friday 9am - 5.00pm

Acorn is currently recruiting for a Full Stack Developer for a leading nutrition calculation software company in Barnstaple.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a family-owned company with over 30 years expertise in food science and software development.

As a skilled full stack developer joining the team you will be working collaboratively within a team but also happy to problem solve and set your own deadlines and priorities.
The company offers a supportive working environment with potential to progress within the business and grow the development team. The role is office based.

Day to day duties in the role as Full Stack Developer are:

* Lead and work closely with small technical team on existing, and new projects, using: .Net Core, C#, JavaScript, Agile, HTML. CSS, DevOps and SQL.
* Adding new and maintaining features to companies high performance, responsive software.
* Ensure new features are expertly designed, tested, de-bugged, verified and ready for integration.
* Involvement with the entire product lifecycle from suggestions to deployment.
* Write new and update existing software tests.
* Write documentation as appropriate.

Desired Skills & Experience for the position are:

* Strong experience of the above languages.
* Extensive experience.
* Experience of API design would be beneficial.
* Experience with the use of Azure is essential.
* You will need to have an excellent eye for detail.
* Creative problem-solving ability.
