Acorn Recruitment is proud to be representing a Tier 1 construction contractor, who are currently recruiting for three Construction Managers to start work on a permanent basis.
They have an £87m wellbeing village project starting in Llanelli from October 2022, which is expected to run until the summer of 2024. This exciting project is the biggest undertaken in Carmarthenshire's history, and will include a leisure centre, a sports hall, teaching and training facilities, and GP facilities.
Each Construction Manager will have a slightly different remit, and thus a relevant background is required.
Construction Manager 1 (Structures):
An engineering background to take the superstructure through design, procuring the suitable contractor and managing the installation works on site for health, safety, quality, cost and programme.
Construction Manager 2 (Façade & Roof):
An engineering background to take the façade and roof packages through design, procuring the suitable contractor and managing the installation works on site for health, safety, quality, cost and programme.
Construction Manager 3 (External Works):
An engineering background to take the external works package through design, procuring the suitable contractor and managing the installation works on site for health, safety, quality, cost.
Qualification Requirements:
* Civil Engineering degree or equivalent is essential
* SMSTS
Benefits:
* Salary: £50-60k depending on experience
* An additional £400-450 per month car allowance
