Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller on behalf of their client based in Newport, Gwent.
As a Part Time Credit Controller (3 days per week) your responsibilities will include:
* Managing all debt including invoicing, applications and retentions, ensuring it is paid in a timely fashion
* Reconciling customer accounts and collaborating staff to resolve any billing issues
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
* Issuing debt letters and final demands
* Completing aged debtors and other financial reports on a weekly basis
* Ad- hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager or other stakeholders
Key Skills:
* The successful candidate must have at least 3 - 5 years Credit Control experience
* Previous experience in a construction industry would be an advantage but not necessary
* Numerically minded with excellent attention to detail
* A naturally organised individual with a proactive and positive approach
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
* Must have Microsoft Office Excel skills
* Sage 200 an advantage but not essential
* Proactive, driven and team player
The successful candidate must have recent experience as a Senior Credit Controller ideally working in a fast paced organisation within a small accounts team. You will be well organised with an analytical mind and be competent using accounting systems and Excel.
