Acorn by Synergie is working with an exciting client who is looking for a Painter / Prepper (ATA)

Preferably with ATA but not mandatory. Extensive experience required.

Main purpose of the role:

To prepare, spray and finish vehicles in an efficient manner ensuring correctness of colour match and final finish to the Company and customers expected standard.

Main Tasks:

Have an understanding of the general principles of spray painting technology, paint composition, paint mixing and the various methods of paint spraying vehicles. Also to update your knowledge regularly when product developments/improvements take place. Attend training courses as necessary.

• Prepare vehicles fully before painting to include masking, sanding and other necessary preparation work. Spray paint to the required finish/standard always having regard for customer care/satisfaction, Roll Priming experience is a advantage.
• Always use the prescribed Safety apparatus/clothing and attend Company arranged medicals and

Follow all necessary guidance provided by the medical professionals. Report any deterioration in health or vision to your manager without delay.

• Keep all Company tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition paying particular attention to the reduction of any fire hazards.

To be aware of and adhere to all the Housekeeping and Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.

OTHER DUTIES

Due to the size and complexity of the establishments you will undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties that are deemed to be within your capability, as directed by a senior manager of the Group to whom you have a reporting relationship ATA qualified preferably.
