Acorn by Synergie is working in partnership with Honeywell in Yeovil, Somerset and have opportunities for a Reach Mechanical Design Engineer to work on full-time basis starting as soon as possible.


The role will involve Reach Mechanical Design Engineer of Aerospace equipment, the position holds the following responsibilities:

* Review existing drawings for REACH obsolescence (materials and processes).
* Create IR's (Investigation Reports) to instigate drawing changes providing technical justification.
* Produce detailed design/layouts to meet customer requirement and specification.
* Create and update 3D CAD models using Siemens NX.
* Work in accordance with procedures and design standards and to contribute to developing best working practices.
* Be responsible for the completion and checking of drawing packs and any other supporting documentation. This will involve prototype and production details and assembly drawings and associated tolerance analyses.


Hours: Range of shifts available and some flexibility to work away form site


Days:

* Monday to Thursday (07:00 to 15:30) & Friday (07:00 to 12:00)


£35.00 to £45.00 per hour

Inclusive of shift allowance and depending on experiences
