Technical Machine / Engineering Operative - Early Shift
Location: Ilminster
Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent (from day one)

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate modern, high-spec manufacturing equipment
- Maintain high standards of product quality and compliance
- Read and follow detailed technical drawings and work instructions
- Utilise the company's in-house ERP system to manage production tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and operational machine issues
- Ensure adherence to internal procedures and regulatory standards related to quality and food/feed safety
- Work efficiently to keep production lines running at full capacity
Candidate Requirements:
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Experience working with machinery or in a mechanical/technical role
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and good problem-solving skills
- Strong IT skills, with the ability to navigate ERP systems
- The ability to work independently while also being a reliable team player
- Access to their own vehicle, as the site is not easily accessible by public transport
