Transport Export Co-Ordinator

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum, based on experience.

Monday - Thursday 07:30am - 4pm

Friday 07:30am - 3pm

Acorn by Synergie is working with a client within the manufacturing industry that are seeking a self-motivated and driven individual to join their existing Logistics team as a Logistics Co-ordinator.

Responsibilities:

* Route planning and co-ordinating with providers to ensure delivery schedules align, both within the UK and Internationally.

* Liaising with several internal departments to ensure an outstanding level of service to providers with regards to delivery timescales.

* Respond to customer enquiries.

* Work alongside the warehouse teams to ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods as well as understand production levels in order to optimise loads to help deliver efficiencies.

* Ensure that the business is receiving both the best value and service for freight management.

* Ensure that all drivers have the relevant and accurate paperwork.

* Work to pre-set KPI's.

* Provide support to all departments relating to the dispatch of goods.

Key Requirements:

* Excellent level of communication skills - both verbal and written.

* Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.

* Knowledge of Microsoft packages and general computer skills.

* Problem solving skills.
