Health and Safey Advisor

Hours:

• Monday - Friday
• 8.00am - 5.00pm (37 hours a week)

Pay:

• £24.35 per hour

We have fantastic temporary opportunity for Health and Safety Advisor to work for well known and respected Home Management Company in Plymouth. This is 6-month placement. if you are interested in upgrading your skills and gaining work experience by working for well recognized brand than this is job for you.

Essential Requirements:

• Health and Safety Advisor must be holder of NEBOSH or NVQ Level 6 qualification who are Certified or Chartered IOSH members.

About the role:

• The Health and Safety Advisor will provide advisory service to make sure that company complies with statuary and non-statutory Health and Safety obligations.
• The Health and Safety Advisor will develop, maintain and review health and safety assessments.
• The Health and Safety Advisor will work closely with unions to create safe working environment. The Health and Safety Advisor must provide advice, guidance and operational support to managers as well as team members of all levels.
• The Health Safety Advisor will identify and assess health and safety risks levels across the business. It is essential to communicate effectively to deliver continuous improvement of health and safety standards.
• The Health and Safety Advisor will collate and analyse accident statistics and recommend preventative intervention strategies to reduce occupational ill health incidences and 'lost working days'.
• The Health and Safety Advisor will work with the Health and Safety Executive and other enforcement agencies on all matters related to Health and Safety.
  
  

For right candidate we will offer generous hourly pay rate of £24.35 per hour. Work location offers easy access to the public transport. You will also have opportunity to gain unique experience and upgrade your knowledge by working for well-known building management company.
