Role: Paint Shop Operative

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting for a Paint Shop Operative to join a busy team based in Barnstaple on a temporary basis. This position preferably requires someone with experience of working in a Paint Shop.

Job duties can include:

• Fettling using hand grinders.
• Sanding using orbital sanders.
• Fine filing.
• Basic spraying of assemblies.
• Operating spray guns to apply paint evenly and efficiently.
• Preparing paints.

Person Specification:

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team or independently.
• Understanding of surface preparation techniques for optimal paint adhesion.
• Knowledge of mixing paints and other materials according to specifications.
• Experience in applying paint using various methods, including spray painting and other techniques.
