Are you a Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for a great opportunity? Acorn by Synergie is recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Drivers to join Budweiser Brewing Group UK & Ireland in Magor who are a leading global brewery. If you have a valid counterbalance forklift licence and a full UK driving licence, this could be your chance to secure a long-term role with potential for a permanent position.

What We're Looking For in a Counterbalance Forklift Driver/ Line Loader:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (refreshed within the last 3 years).
  • Double handler experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Awareness of health & safety in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong ability with systems/scanners to operate the warehouse stock management system to control goods coming in/out.
  • Computer literate and ability to use Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Microsoft Teams).
  • SAP experience preferred but not essential.
  • Reliable and committed with a strong work ethic.

Shift Pattern

  • 12 hour shifts rotating on a weekly basis 7am-7pm Monday to Thursday & 7pm-7am Monday to Wednesday

Key Skills

  • Comply with all Statutory & Legal requirements.
  • Comply with all Safety, Health & Environment requirements.
  • Comply with any appropriate packaging or food hygiene safety regulations as defined by policy or legislation, such as HACCP.
  • Comply with all Product & Process Quality requirements.
  • Comply with all Housekeeping, Cleaning & 5S requirements.
  • Comply with basic asset care requirements. This is a requirement for all loaders, not just those that previously had the Asset Care grade.
  • Undertake any packaging related tasks, as directed by the First Line Manager.
  • Attend Meetings & Briefings as necessary.
  • Comply with all documentation and transactions required to operate and improve performance in the department.
  • Load/unload empty/full goods and materials.
  • Stack empty kegs in the relevant rows.
  • Stack full goods in the relevant rows.
  • Remove waste and place on the trailer outside.
  • Full ownership of the logistics area 5s.
  • Remove shrink film from empty keg pallet and form pallet.
  • Take layer pads from depal to palletiser.
  • Assist emptying cardboard bailer and remove for recycling.
  • Fill and replenish spears for PLs on manual insertion.
  • Load board on box packer (once commissioned).
  • Service all reject legs across the line.
  • Ensure that all internal customer requirements are met.
  • Servicing the packaging lines with raw materials and removing finished product, loading and unloading vehicles whilst operating a Warehouse Management System.
  • Servicing our customer orders by assembling, loading and unloading vehicles in a safe manner and to the correct standard.
  • Ensuring documentation accuracy throughout the different processes and procedures that are in use within Logistics - SAP / WMS etc.
  • Working within a team environment ensuring all tasks are completed without the requirement for constant supervision, being able to deal with minor issues as they occur.
  • Maintaining Safety, 5S and high standards in every task undertaken throughout the department with a strong focus on supporting our Better World targets.
  • Constantly following & supporting VPO ways of working with a dedicated focus on maintaining all Departmental and Company KPIs.
