Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Machine Operators to join a well-established plastics manufacturing company in the Crumlin area. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with competitive pay, structured shifts, and career progression.

About the Role

As a Machine Operator, you'll support the production of high-quality plastic goods, ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency on the line. You will start on day shifts for training before moving to a continental 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights).

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and package plastic moulded products.
• Operate semi-automatic machines (after training).
• Monitor for faults and maintain quality standards.
• Handle pallets: stacking, wrapping, and moving with trolleys.
• Clean your workstation and tools, including the use of solvents when required.
• Run multiple machines once trained.
• Comply with company health and safety policies.

What We're Looking For

• Previous factory or manufacturing experience (essential).
• Injection moulding experience (preferred, not essential).
• Ability to work 12-hour continental shifts (days and nights).
• Own transport due to location.
• Must supply your own safety boots (hi-vis vest provided).

Shift Pattern & Hours

• 4 on, 4 off rotation (2 days, 2 nights).
• 12-hour shifts.
• Start with training on day shift before moving to full pattern.
• Overtime paid at 125% and 150% rates.
