Willand, EX15, Devon | £32,000 per annum plus Overtime and Bonus Scheme | Monday - Friday | 8am - 4:30pm| Full-Time | Permanent
Are you an experienced CNC Operator looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced, precision engineering environment? We're hiring a skilled CNC Press Brake / Punch Machine Operative to join a reputable manufacturing team in Willand, Devon. About the Role:
As a CNC Operative, you'll be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of CNC Press Brake and CNC Punch machines, ensuring high-quality fabrication of metal components. You'll play a vital role in the production process, working with a close-knit team to meet targets and maintain safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC Press Brake and/or CNC Punch machines safely and efficiently.
- Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and meet specifications.
- Complete necessary production records and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC Press Brake and/or CNC Punch machines.
- Background in sheet metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance and fault-finding.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
