Newport (NP19) | £12.68 per hour | Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Temporary to Ongoing Contract

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting Welders of all levels for an immediate start at a busy manufacturing site in Newport (NP19).

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled or entry-level welders seeking consistent work with potential for long-term employment. A weld test will be conducted prior to starting.

Key Duties:

• Perform welding tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Work to production schedules and maintain quality standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures on site.
• Carry out basic maintenance and upkeep of welding equipment.
• Assist with general production duties as required.

Requirements:

• All levels of welding experience considered.
• Must be able to pass a weld test prior to starting.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work to specifications.
• Strong awareness of health and safety in a manufacturing setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

Shifts:

• Monday to Thursday: 6am - 2:30pm.
• (Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch and a 15-minute paid morning break).
• Friday: 6am - 1pm.
• (Includes a 20-minute paid break).
• Overtime may be required depending on business needs.
