Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an Experience Warehouse Operative to join a dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse experience looking to develop their skills while contributing to the smooth operation of the warehouse.

You will play a key role in materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Key Duties:

• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Use a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage stock levels.

• Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to ensure timely shipping.

• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring items are handled with care.

• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining an organised warehouse environment.

• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems, particularly Veeqo, is advantageous.

• Ability to engage in physical activities throughout the shift.

• Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfilment and inventory management.

• Ability to think and work independently.

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility with working hours between 8am and 6pm.
