The leading recruiter will visit four areas of the city throughout the last week of January to help local residents find out more about the kinds of roles available.
Sessions will take place in partnership with the Council at community hubs centrally and in the North, East and West of the city on the following dates:
The sessions will offer information on all kinds of jobs available across a wide range of sectors, and places should be booked in advance.
Councillor Deb Davies, Newport City Council’s cabinet member for education and skills, said: “I’m delighted the council is partnering with Acorn Recruitment to offer employment opportunities to residents by holding job events in our neighbourhood hubs across the city.
