Acorn, one of the UK's leading specialist recruitment agencies, is celebrating after being shortlisted for three honours within the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP) Awards.
Now in their ninth year, the prestigious awards present a unique platform upon which to celebrate the successes of the brightest recruitment professionals and companies within the UK.
Acorn’s vast expertise has been recognised in no less than three categories, including Business Leader of the Year for Group Commercial Director Scott Liddle, Permanent Consultant of the Year for Chippenham Branch Manager Kristy Moore, and Best Support Team for the Group’s Marketing Team.
Matt Southall, Group Managing Director said: “This is fantastic news for everyone at Acorn. Having a director, a manager and a team shortlisted in these highly reputable, national recruitment awards is testament to the hard work that we all do on a day-to-day basis. From one branch launched 25 years ago to 35 branches and onsite support offices throughout the UK offering leading recruitment support within a number of specialist industries, I couldn’t be prouder of how far we have come, and it’s thanks to the commitment and loyalty of every single employee.”
“The nomination for our Commercial Director is the latest distinction in an extremely successful year for Scott, who was shortlisted in the Institute of Directors UK Awards following his win in the IoD Wales Director of the Year Awards within the medium-large business category just a few months ago.
“We are equally proud of Kristy’s nomination as Permanent Consultant of the Year for her exceptional work in Chippenham. With 12 branches in the South West, of which two have just opened this month in Bridgwater and Bournemouth, we are thriving in the region thanks to the dedication of managers like Kristy.
“Such success would not be possible without the ongoing contribution of our support teams, and of course our Marketing Department is essential in the company’s long-term development and growth, whose nomination in the Best Support Team category speaks for itself.”
